Abbers gets a big-girl room

We said a bittersweet goodbye to the yellow and white stripes of Abby's baby room, and hello to big girl purple! And the highlight - a giant horse decal. Perfect for our little horse-lover. Many hours and achy muscles (mostly for Daddy) later, we're done! Still waiting on a couple of other items for the walls, but the almost-8-year-old is VERY excited. Birthday celebrations next week!

We are back! And it is Christmas time...

Epic fail for Mommy in keeping up with the blog. But we're back to give it another go!

Even though it is a crazy time of year, Christmas is always a wonderful time for family, friends and traditions. Abby writes a special note to Santa and then she and Kate leave cookies and milk for him, with carrots for the reindeer. This year Abby made a special sign, to make sure Santa could find us even if he was having a rough night. :)

It's vacation time!

The weather at Glacier this year was beautiful for most of the week. Abby made a new friend and caught her first fish with Granddad. Kate enjoyed the beach, playground and the s'mores, s'mores and more s'mores!

We gave in to the begging and Abby got to attend Horse Camp this year. She rode a horse named Pirate and fell in love.
